I saw a C6 Corvette base out during the early onset of our first snowstorm, about two weeks ago. He was my hero, but I still felt like I needed to say a little prayer, because it didn't look like he was on snows.

Nope, as someone with exprience in the snow with a Corvette, you don't want any type of all season... You're left with two choices that fit this kind of car. Pirelli SottoZeros or Nkian WR tires...
But his corvette is NOT pulling a snowmobile in the snow on all-weather, I can promiss you that :)

Not sure... I haven't really looked into 295 and over low profile tires that were all-seasons... Snow tires (well, M+S rated as snow tires), yes, but all weather, I'm not sure...
